California Goldrush Hockey Club (“Goldrush”, “we”, “us”) operates goldrushhockey.com. This policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number (optional) and message you enter, so that we can reply to you. Submissions are emailed to the club and stored on this website.
Newsletter signup. When you subscribe to club news, the email address you enter is stored in our LeagueApps mailing list and used only to send club updates such as tryout dates and season news. You can unsubscribe from any email.
Registration. Player and family registration, payments, rosters and schedules are handled on our LeagueApps site (goldrushhockey.leagueapps.com), not on this website. Information you provide there is governed by the LeagueApps privacy policy and by the club policies you agree to at registration.
Site analytics. We may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect anonymous usage data, for example pages visited, device type and approximate location, to understand how the site is used. These tools may set cookies. We do not use this data to identify you.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To send club news you have asked to receive.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties except service providers who help us run the website and the club (for example our web host, email provider and LeagueApps), or where required by law.
Children
This website is intended for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Player information is collected by a parent or guardian through registration on LeagueApps.
Photos and media
Photos and video of players may appear on this website and the club’s social media. Families can opt out through the Photo & Media Release option at registration. See the Policies & SafeSport page.
Your choices
You may ask us to update or delete the information you have submitted through this website by emailing info@goldrushhockey.com. For registration data, contact the club registrar at registrar@goldrushhockey.com.
